A day in the life of a NZ athlete and what a schedule looks like leading up to competition. I guess I won't get to see much of Gemma for coffees with this timetable.

  1. Do they get any days to tour around the city or do they have to train 12/7

  3. Hi Blayze, no they don't get to tour around until after competition finishes. The N.Z team including all athletes are very focused on winning medals so they pretty much stay in the village, train, sleep, eat etc. New Zealand athletes are one of the countries that do not even allow any family or friends in to visit because they don't want any distractions. Pretty determined team and that's a great thing showing how determined they are to compete really well! Great question and keep them coming see ya!

  5. Will you be touring around the city? Is Scotland much different from New Zealand? Hope you are having a great time and good luck to your daughter. It looks very sunny! :)

  6. Hi Jaida, Scotland is very different in the city as they have old historic buildings remember they are a much older country than us, in fact the railway we are traveling on was built before NZ was discovered!
